Several relationships in Weatherfield are preparing to end on Coronation Street.

Coronation Street: Monday, Dec. 30, 2013

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) is having a hard time with Tina's (Michelle Keegan) announcement that she is moving to London. On the way to a business meeting he bumps into her and encourages her to stay. The client he was supposed to meet at the factory could blow any cover Peter has when they ask Carla (Allison King) where exactly her husband is -- and she can't give an answer.

After Tina witnesses Peter lying to Carla about his whereabouts, she is further disgusted by him and throws him out,. He's left at Carla's mercy when he arrives back at work and she demands to know where he's been. If he has a hard time wriggling out of this scenario, he could very well have all of his secrets spilled, and risk losing both his mistress and his new wife on the same day.

Roy (Davis Neilson) and Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) are dealing with their own relationship coming to its own end as well, now that Hayley has mere weeks to live after her treatments for cancer were ineffective. Things turn for the worse when Hayley admits she hasn't had much of an appetite lately, forcing Roy to ask help from Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone (Alan Hasall).

Steve (Simon Gregson) and Michelle (Kym Marsh) have their own troubles to deal with. Michelle has been in a bad mood and is starting to put on weight, which bothers her even more now that Steve's old friend Andrea (Hayley Tamaddon) has dropped back into town and clearly has a thing for Steve.

Coronation Street: Friday, Jan. 3, 2014

Not all of the relationships in Weatherfield are suffering entirely, however.

David (Jack P. Sheperd) and Kylie (Paula Lane) have reconciled and are beginning to move back in together, despite some awkward tension remaining from their past.

Coronation Street airs Monday at 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. on ITV.
