Alana Thompson of TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and family were in a car accident on Monday night.

Mike Thompson (also known as Sugar Bear), Alana, Lauryn Shannon, Jessica Shannon, and June Shannon were all in the family vehicle when the incident occurred. According to TMZ, the crash took place when Mike was turning left at a green light and a truck, which was traveling without headlights on, came from the opposite direction and hit the car.

Luckily for the cast of the reality show, no one was seriously injured in the crash. While Sugar Bear and Mama June suffered back injuries, Honey Boo Boo hit her head and Lauryn bruised her chest, reports TMZ.

"As many of you have heard we were in a car accident last night," June said in a statement on Tuesday, according to Us Weekly ."It was really scary for us, since it was the first time any of us had ever been in a wreck. We are definitely really sore today, but our top priority is to celebrate Pumpkin's birthday. She turned 14 today and no matter how sore we feel we are going to go out and celebrate. As always we want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes."

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC. Click the video below to see a preview for the third season, which premieres on Jan. 16.
