Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's Alana Thompson's holiday vacation didn't quite go as planned this year and ended with three family members in the hospital.

The young reality TV star and her family traded their home in McIntier, Ga. for the theme parks of Orlando, Fla. following their Christmas festivities. As part of a surprise trip planned by "Mama" June Shannon, Alana, Jessica Shannon, Anna Shannon, Lauryn Shannon and Mike Thompson (Sugar Bear) traveled down to the sunshine state with their friend Bobbie.

"Well since the girls didn't ask for anything for Christmas we surprised them about a [week] or so and told them if we done a awesome job helping other families in need we would go back to Disney for Christmas so we [are] on the road now almost there and will [be] there til the 30th," June wrote on the family's Facebook page the day after Christmas.

While all went well for the first few days of the vacation, Mike, Jessica, and Bobbie all found themselves in the hospital by Dec. 27 with a sinus infection, bronchitis, and the H1N1 virus, respectively.

"Well half way home this has been the craziness and worst vacation we have been on it was great the first two days then Friday night it all changed Bobbie sugarbear and Jessica ended up in the hospital from the parks," June wrote on Monday as the crew headed back to Georgia without Bobbie, who remained hospitalized.

Instead of wasting the group's unused passes for Universal Studios, the Shannon/Thompson clan stayed with their 'pay it forward' mentality and gave them away to another family.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC. Click the video below to see a preview for the third season, which premieres on Jan. 16.
