Dr. Lecter will be stripping down to a Speedo when Hannibal returns to NBC for its second season.

Although Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is an unwilling resident at the Baltimore Hospital for the Criminally Insane, Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) is still in the free and clear despite his murderous habits. In episode 5, which is titled "Mukozuke," the demented psychiatrist will spend some of his extra hours swimming laps.

"Went for a late night swim at the Toronto YMCA to find the pool closed. #MadsMikkelsen was in the water, shooting #Hannibal, looking buff," tweeted film critic Brian D. Johnson on Nov. 1.

Fans can catch glimpses of "Mukowzuke," which is currently going through the editing process, in the gallery above.

Michael Rymer, who was at the helm for Hannibal's swimming excursion, also appears to be back in the director's chair for the episode the Toronto based series is currently filming. Although it is unknown which episode the cast is working on, recent photos from series creator Bryan Fuller indicated that is will involve quite a bit of blood spatter and will feature Will inside a cage (see photos above).

Hannibal returns to NBC on Feb. 28 at 10 p.m. ET. Click the video below to view the end of the season 1 finale, "Savoureux."
