CBS' hit TV series, The Big Bang Theory, has officially attached two well known actors to guest star, as Star Wars' actors Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones are set to grace the small screen.

According to TVLine on Jan. 12, Fisher and Jones will be coming on board the sitcom at some point late in the seventh season. The two will reportedly have "some sort of interaction" with Sheldon, who's played by Jim Parsons, and play as themselves. Big Bang executive producers Bill Prady and Steve Molaro had informed the television site about the news.

Being that the program has already payed homage to the Star Trek franchise through its characters chatter of it, it's sensible that the top brass would bring on two well knowns from another franchise with an even larger amount of popularity. Fisher played Princess Leia while Jones was the original voice of the evil Darth Vader.

Star Trek actors that have already guest starred include LeVar Burton, Wil Wheaton, Bret Spiner, and Leonard Nimoy.
