Former Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reportedly had a Skype session eight months after their breakup.

It appears that the stars spoke to each other on Skype for two hours where Stewart added the former couples' dogs to the conversation. According to CP Entertainment's post on Tuesday, Stewart is looking after the dogs [Bernie, Bear and Stewart's dog Bailey] while Pattinson is in Morocco filming Queen of the Desert.

"Kristen and Rob Skyped for two hours before he left for Morocco," a source close to Stewart told Hollywood Life. "Kristen knew Rob was really missing Bernie and Bear so they all- meaning Rob, Kristen and all three dogs, even Bailey- had a Skype session."

"Rob was talking to the dogs and telling them how much he loves them and was pretending to pet them through the computer screen," the source added.

According to The Stir, it appears that the only reason for the Skype session was because Pattinson was missing the dogs, not because of Stewart. But the source claims that the former couple have stayed in contact with each other.

"Even though they haven't seen each other, Kristen and Rob have been in touch on a regular basis," the source said. "It will be more difficult now that Rob's in Morocco so they made sure to get time in together before he left."

The Twilight stars began dating in 2008 and reportedly broke up in 2012 due to Stewart's alleged cheating incident. They later reconciled but Pattinson officially called it quits again in 2013.
