Though she was first noticed for her jumpsuit outfit at the Golden Globes, The Telegraph reported on Monday that she was more noticed for a funny GIF.

An opening monologue by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey roasted Oprah Winfrey, Andy Serkis and North Korea, but they then took to making a joke about the Birdman actress.

"One of those famous Big Eye paintings is on display tonight. Let's check it out," Poehler said before the camera zoomed in on Stone.

Stone, of course, pulled it off in a calm and cool manner by widening her eyes and pointing at them with a silly face. The small gesture was then made into a GIF that circulated the Internet.

Poehler then noted about the actress, "It's cute but it's creepy."

V.F. Hollywood took to Twitter to note: "That Big Eyes/Emma Stone joke was just on the border between funny and mean, which is great."

Amanda Lavergne said on Twitter: "Emma Stone handling that joke - flawless. #GoldenGlobes."

Another Twitter user, Justin Livingston said: I just love Emma Stone...Big eyes and all. She's perfection. #GoldenGlobes."
