In early January, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, Jessica Shannon, and June Shannon were involved in a small wreck when the family vehicle was struck by a truck. Although there were no serious injuries, physical and psychological aftereffects of the accident have been plaguing the McIntyre, Ga. family.

While Lauryn was briefly hospitalized for problems brought on by a severe concussion, the family is also reportedly dealing with Alana's PTSD. Luckily, the Thompson/Shannon clan received a brief respite from their normal routine when they traveled to New York City earlier this week.

Honey Boo Boo's Family Looking For New Home?

"Everybody is doing pretty good. Pumpkin is still recovering, but it's just day-by-day. We have good days and bad days. She's here [in New York] with us, with Sugar Bear, just so she can be close to me so she can feel comfortable going through everything that's she's going through," June explained on Good Morning America. "It's been a trying like, five weeks, so we've been kind of just taking it day by day. It's a lot of patience, a lot of devotion and stuff like that. Overall, everybody is getting better."

While Honey Boo Boo and co. recover, fans can catch previously filmed episodes of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo clan Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
