The actor, who plays Aiden Mathis on the show, is reportedly wanted by several casting directors for new pilots, according to a recent report from TV Line.

One of these projects includes The Visitors, an alien drama produced by Steven Spielberg.

The Visitors, which received a pilot order from ABC, is based on a Ray Bradbury short story called Zero Hour.

However, the 33-year-old actor was given the green light from ABC and Revenge executives to look into his pilot offers.

Yet, Sloane is still wanted on Revenge and producers will try to keep him on the show in some way, TV Line also reported.

Sloane joined the ABC show during season 2 and later became a series regular. His character is an ex-boyfriend of Emily VanCamp's and also remains a big part in her dangerous schemes.

There are also some big plans for Sloane's character on the current season.

When the show returns for season 3 in March, fans will get a glimpse of Aiden when he was 12 years old and relive a traumatic incident he witnessed before he was even a teenager, according to E! Online.

The event will explain the reason why Emily's ex-boyfriend is "so brooding."

Revenge returns on Sunday, March 9 at a new time 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
