In an unlikely pairing, a dead Elvis impersonator, a bird suffering from a sever case of rigor mortis, and a chess player will all be factors D.B. Russell's (Ted Danson) latest case. The hunt for a killer will be on when the CSI team uses Sanders (Eric Szmanda) to stay one step ahead of the game, according to TV Guide.

When the King of Rock and Roll is found lifeless on a park bench, the Las Vegas crew will be tasked with solving the impersonator's murder well also trying to link his death to that of the suspiciously deceased bird found beside him. Although they are up against a clever criminal mind, the intrepid investigators will have a little extra help from Detective Crawford (Daoud Balewa).

As Sanders reaches back into the depths of his mind in order to play the Chess Player's (Ron Glass) metaphorical game, viewers will be treated to a glimpse of the tech as a teen. Taylor Vale will step in to play a 14-year-old version of the character that will most likely be seen honing his chess skills at his high school Chess Club.
