Great television couples have the ability to inspire real-life fans with their love stories.

The best couples to grace the small screen have managed to not only make fans root for them until the very end, but to also feel great heartbreak when the couple is dealt with some great adversity. Yet, they always healed their fans hearts in the end, because they always found their way back to one another.

With that in mind, Enstars compiled a list of the eight best TV couples in history.

The first couple on the list is Rachel Greene (Jennifer Aniston) and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) on Friends. Nearly the entire 10-season run the show had on NBC had the two characters in a constant tug-of-war over their feelings for one another. One always had some feeling for the other one, but occasionally the two managed to connect at the exact same time. By the time the series ended in 2004, they had dated and broken up several times, gotten married (and divorced), had a baby together, and Rachel even gave up a job in Paris to be with Ross.

Also making the list are Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) and Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel) from Boy Meets World. These two made everyone believe in the ability of meeting their soul mate when they're six-year-old. Sure there were some lost years when they entered middle school, but soon enough the two were back together, incredibly in love, and getting married. The couple will soon grace fans' television screens again with the premiere of the Girl Meets World spinoff show on DIsney Channel this summer.
