Alicia and Diane will consider merging their firms in season 5, episode 17 of The Good Wife, according to the official synopsis.

While the latest episode, Last Call, paid tribute to Will Gardner (Josh Charles), and fans are slowly coming to terms with the legal drama's leading man's death it is time to move on as cases need to be won.

The preview for the episode, titled A Material World, it also seems like Alicia and Peter are going to have an ugly showdown. She is a disheveled mess, her eyes tired from crynig, in the kitchen of her home as Peter is seen agitatedly fighting her.

"How many times do I have to tell you, when I cheated it didn't mean anything," he says while seething with rage.

"When I cheated it did," Alicia directs the agression right back at him.

Alicia to Divorce Peter After Will's Death?   

Here is the official synopsis for the episode:

"Alicia and Diane consider merging their firms in the wake of Will's death, even as they find themselves on opposite sides of a contentious divorce suit. Meanwhile, Alicia offers assistance to Finn when it becomes clear that the State's Attorney is looking for a scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case."

A Material World will air on April 6 on CBS.
