A new fashion line inspired by Nobel Prize winner Nelson Mandela titled "46664" will launch July 18. during "Mandela Day" July 18th in the U.S. and Canada.

The collection will include menswear, womenswear and childrenwear. According to Chris Vogelpoel, the collection's designer "The goal of the brand is to take South Africa into the global fashion market," according to AP.

The collection promises to "create the first global fashion brand that originates in South Africa," according to Wayne Bebb CEO of Brand ID.

"We have been overwhelmed by the positive response to the exceptional product and a brand concept that has a continued core ethic to support the projects of Nelson Mandela through 46664 (South Africa)," he added.

The "46664" brand aims to develop a sustainable model to uplift South Africa as a destination for Fashion.

"From lifestyle perspective, the global arc of '46664 Fashion' makes it is as relevant in Atlanta and Toronto as it is in Johannesburg, particularly among progressive, transcultural Millennials and Gex X influencers," said Company's CEO Erin Patton.

Makers expect the Fashion line to contribute to South Africa's economy, creating jobs, developing manufacturing industries and providing sustainable sources of income.

"This global growth will lead to an increase in funds to be invested into community social upliftment projects in South Africa and create jobs in our clothing and textile sectors," affirms Bebb.

Fashion 46664 was established in 2002 as an not-for-profit organization to take forward Nelson Mandela's global HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention campaign. Partnering with selected commercial entities to create sustainable income streams to further South African society, according to a press release.

The line named after Mandela's prison number in Robben Island, will launch on Mandela's 94th birthday.
