During the episode, Phyllis' husband went to the hospital to put their relationship behind him since he's now in love with Kelly. However, Jack has no clue that Mr. Victor Newman has been helping Phyllis receive a therapy, which may help in her recovery.
The episode simply showed Phyllis lying in the hospital bed. But, the character is set to soon wake up and shake things up in Genoa City.

Yet, Jack once promised their daughter, Summer, that he would be with Phyllis if she wakes up no matter what. Will Jack live up to his promise or is his love with Kelly too strong?
The character, which made her debut on the show in 1994 with actress Michelle Stafford, has been in the hospital for a year now after suffering a brain trauma from a staircase fall.
Tognoni, a two-time Emmy winner, landed her latest role after having a "flawless" audition, a rep told TVGuide.com in May. The 40-year-old actress is no stranger to soap operas. She starred as Kelly Cramer on One Life to Live from 1995 to 2011 and Dinah Marler on Guiding Light from 2004 to 2009.
