Team USA is offering some mean female divers for the 2012 Olympic Games this year in London. Here is a list of America's female representatives in the diving category:

Abigail Johnson,22, began diving in 2002 and was a gymnast for nine years prior to that. She qualified for the NCAA Championship in 2010 and 2011, which made her the first NCAA champion with a 3-meter win from a Duke University student.

Kelci Bryant,23, was at the 2008 Olympics where she came in fourth in the synchronized 3-meter dive. At the 2012 FINA Diving World Series, she won a silver medal in synchronized 3-meter in Beijing and a bronze medal in synchronized 3-meter in Moscow. Both Johnson and Bryant competed in the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard finals on July 29.

Christina Loukas,27, will dive during the women's 3-meter springboard preliminary round on Aug. 3 at 2:30 Eastern time. Born in Chicago but now living in The Woodlands, TX, the athlete finished ninth in the 3-meter springboard during the Beijing Olympics. She returns to London with the hopes that her second Olympics will give her the gold.

Fellow 27-year- old Cassidy Krug did not make it to the 2004 or 2008 Olympics but has been training  hard for her debut at the 2012 Games. Both parents and her younger brother are diving coaches and the Stanford,CA, resident will compete against Loukas on Aug. 3

Brittany Viola,25, quit gymnastics at the age of 13 and devoted herself to diving when she joined her junior high school diving team. At the 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships, she won titles on 1-meter, 3-meter and platform.The Florida residence tweeted on July 15, "Joy, excitement, peace, & hope are the emotions I'm experiencing at @USADiving #Team heads to @London2012! Love is in my heart!" She will compete with other teams in the women's 10-meter platform preliminary round on Aug. 8.

In the water with her will also be USA competitor Katie Bell,24. In both 2011 and 2012, Bell came in second in the USA Diving Winter National Championships.The Ohio native began competing in diving competitions in 2005 and came in 1st place in 2009's AT&T National Diving Championships.
