A new photo of the Loch Ness Monster has been released by a long time hunter of the legendary creature. George Edwards has been an avid hunter of the Loch Ness for almost 30 years. He leads searches for the creature in the waters of Scotland as part of his Loch Ness Cruise business and has released a new photograph which portrays the monster with an odd hump.

Edwards, 60, told the Inverness Courier, "I'm convinced I was seeing Nessie as I believe in these creatures. Far too many people have being seeing them for far too long."

He claims to have watched the creature for up to ten minutes from his boat, the Nessie Hunter IV.

"I was just about to return to Temple Pier (in Drumnadrochit) and I went to the back of the boat which was facing the pier and that's when I saw it," said Edwards. "It was slowly moving up the loch towards Urquhart Castle and it was a dark grey color. It was quite a fair way from the boat, probably about half a mile away but it's difficult to tell in water."

However, he said that the monster disappeared under the deep waters of the loch. He said he waited for half an hour for the monster to resurface but with no luck.

The photo was reportedly taken back in November 2nd last year but Edwards waited until now to bring the pictures out in public. "I did not want to mention my sighting until I was sure that I had not photographed a log or something inanimate in the water," he said. "I have friends in the USA who have friends in the military. They had my photo analyzed and they have no doubt that I photographed an animate object in the water.

"I was really excited as I am sure that some strange creatures are lurking in the depths of Loch Ness."
