Constantine viewers received the briefest glimpse of Zed in the premiere, and the artist will crash into the beleaguered demon hunter during "The Darkness Beneath."

Last seen feverishly sketching Constantine's face, Zed (Angélica Celaya) will meet the man of her dreams (literally) while he battles an ancient Welsh spirit that is upsetting a small Pennsylvanian town. Once Zed harangues the Brit on the street, she will become a staple on the NBC series.

"After the first episode, you see me for just a glimpse right at the end and that is basically a foreshadowing of what's to come and I'll be in there for the rest of the ride of Constantine," Celaya told NBC. "I play Zed. She's a very tough cookie. She doesn't take no for an answer. She is...she can hang with the boys. She can hang on her own. She can stand her own ground. She doesn't...she's a tough one and she's not afraid to get her hands dirty and kick some evil butt."
