Constantine's move to The CW is just a 'rumor.'

'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: How Many Years Are Left [POLL]? CW President Teases Future

That's the official word according to CW president Mark Pedowitz, despite what series creator Daniel Cerone has said on Twitter.

The beleaguered DC Hellblazer adaptation recently received the axe from NBC and is currently searching for a new home. With The CW upfronts scheduled for today, the future is looking bleak for the alleged Master of the Dark Arts.

"There's a rumor going around that I was gonna go play in the NBA," Pedowitz joked, according to HitFix. "At the moment it's just a rumor."

Cerone, on the other hand, has been far more vocal about the series' deliberations with The CW.

"No updates on CW front other than both sides are talking. #Constantine #SaveConstantine #Hellblazers," Cerone tweeted on Tuesday.

The CW's fall schedule is already packed with DC's current slate - Arrow, The Flash, and the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow - leaving little room for another comic book character to burst onto the scene. However, the networks solid track record with DC also indicates the potential to air more series' from the studio.
