Olivia Wilde is the newest face for H&M's more environmentally sustainable clothing where she took to Twitter to express her gratitude for the success.
According to Daily News, H&M announced Wilde as the face of the latest Conscious Exclusive collection, the Swedish giant's line of more environmentally sustainable apparel on Thursday.
By Thursday afternoon, the actress had posted to Twitter about how proud she was for the opportunity. The tweet read: "So proud to be the face of @hm's new #HMConsciousExclusive campaign. Nothing more chic than sustainability."
Wilde also posted a photo with the tweet of herself in a low-v pantsuit. The tweet received 720 retweets and over 2500 favorites along with several responses.
The hashtag #HMConsciousExclusive was buzzing until Saturday with congratulations praise for the company's new campaign.
To represent its new Conscious Exclusive collection, H&M called upon the House MD actress, who follows in the footsteps of Amber Valletta and Vanessa Paradis.
The new line will emphasize details and tailoring inspired by African, Indian and Asian cultures. It is set to go on sale on April 16 in 200 H&M stores around the world and at hm.com.
The Conscious Collection, launched in 2011, uses sustainable materials such as organic cotton, organic linen, Tencel and recycled polyester. H&M last year also launched a global garment collection initiative that allows customers to drop off their used clothing at its stores.
