Taylor Swift will take the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 6 to do her first live performance of her new smash hit, "We Are Never Getting Back Together," announced as part of the show's line-up of A-list performers for the big night.

One Direction, Green Day, Pink and Alicia Keys are among the names said to perform, according to MTV.

It will be the first VMA appearance for the British boy band One Direction, who also star in a promotional video for the award show, posted online on Aug. 20.


Kim Kardasian and Kanye West are featured in another promo clip for the VMAs, available for viewing on the event's official site.

Swift's new song is from her upcoming fourth album "Red." In the week ending Aug. 19, it broke the female digital sales all-time record and the ended up having the second-largest digital sales week ever.

Flo Rida's 2009 "Right Round" is the current song holding the record for the most downloads in its first week.

The television network hosting the VMA's also revealed the following list of big name presenters for the night: Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, and the "Fierce Five" Olympic gold medalists Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross.

The VMAs will be hosted by Kevin Hart and will air live on MTV on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m./7 central.
