Colfer (who plays Kurt) and Criss (Blaine) recently spoke in a new sneak peek of the next episode of Glee about the future of "Klaine." Colfer suggested that it would be funny for them to be like Ricky and Lucy from the classic sitcom I Love Lucy.

"What do you think, 'cause we've covered, like, everything, what do you think is going to happen in the future that could've been a major storyline in the future for us that we don't get to do now?" Colfer asked Criss.

"I would've loved to see a storyline where Puck was Blaine's new dad," Criss responded. "That would've been so funny!"

Colfer thought up a Homeland scenario.

"If anything could happen, I would love for it to be Homeland-style, where Blaine gets kidnapped by terrorists and Kurt has to go undercover to save him. I think that would be my ideal situation," Colfer said.

The pair then speculated about who would play them in a future episode of Glee or a Glee movie. Colfer immediately deadpanned "Marcia Gay Harden," causing Criss to laugh. He said that Criss's Blaine would be played by Peter Gallagher in the future.

"I would see that movie!" Colfer admitted.

Glee airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
