Aduba, who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on Orange Is the New Black, told The Associated Press (via The Huffington Post) recently that season 3 would be about how different people "absorb" faith.

"[Series creator Jenji Kohan] is really toying with that idea, about how people absorb and use faith, to their advantage or to their detriment," Aduba said. "With Crazy Eyes, she has, in the past, been a bit of an idol worshipper. ... It'll be interesting to see whether that's something she continues doing, where she puts her faith and whether she's learned her lesson."

Suzanne put her faith in the most evil person during season 2 of the Netflix series, falling under the spell of Vee (Lorraine Toussaint). With Vee now gone, it remains to be seen if Suzanne will find another "idol" to worship or if she will be on the path towards looking out for herself over all else.

Aduba's performance as Suzanne, commonly known as "Crazy Eyes," has been acclaimed since the very first season. The actress picked up an Emmy win for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series last summer.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is scheduled to be released on Friday, June 12 on Netflix. All 13 episodes are expected to begin streaming at once, just as the previous two seasons have been.
