It's been a long wait, but the original Breaking Amish cast will officially be back on TLC again in a few short weeks, with a second season of Return to Amish officially confirmed.

'Return To Amish' Renewed For Second Season

The news was confirmed by The Wrap, with both the series starring original ex-Amish stars Jeremiah Raber, Kate Stoltz, Rebecca Schmucker, Abe Schmucker and Sabrina High and another popular series, Gypsy Sisters both scheduled to premiere their new seasons beginning May 31.

According to the website, the season premiere of Return to Amish will pickup where the groups last season left off in Summer 2014, which saw Jeremiah making a shocking decision to try and return to the Amish lifestyle, while Abe's brother Andrew married his cancer-stricken English girlfriend Chapel. In addition, Mary and Chester, Abe's parents, were shunned from the community after they chose to attend the wedding.

'Return to Amish' Cast 'Wouldn't Change' Their Decisions To Go English

Now, Mary will continue being shunned, while Chester tries to make peace and find a return back to the community. Abe and Rebecca are continuing to raise their family, while coming to terms with the idea that their Amish past continues to fall further behind them.  Jeremiah will continue regaining some of his old heritage to stabilize his life, as Katie Ann begins to feel herself pulled even more the English.

Unfortunately for Chapel, her future is still unknown, and Andrew doesn't make thing any better after he winds up in trouble once again.

Interestingly enough, Sabrina appears to not be mentioned as returning in the new season, which causes speculation that she may have decided not to return with the rest of the cast.

Breaking Amish: Return to Amish season 2 premieres Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. on TLC.
