New promotional photos for the third season of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, centered around the theme of lit candles.

To get fans excited about season 3 of Orange Is the New Black, Netflix has released photos of the cast superimposed on candles.

Among the characters in the set of candles are Piper (Taylor Schilling), Alex (Laura Prepon), Suzanne (Uzo Aduba), Red (Kate Mulgrew), Sophia (Laverne Cox), Pennsatucky (Taryn Manning), Poussey (Samira Wiley), Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Morello (Yael Stone), Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), Daya (Dascha Polanco), Big Boo (Lea DeLaria), Black Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore), Gloria (Selenis Leyva) and Flaca (Jackie Cruz).

Ruby Rose is also featured on one of the candles. The actress is playing Stella, a new prisoner in season 3. Another candle features Lori Petty, who plays Lolly. Lolly was featured in the season 2 premiere flying on the plane with Piper. She will be a new prisoner to Litchfield as well.

This candle imagery is in keeping with what Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan has been saying about season 3. Kohan has said that season 3 will be "about faith," aligning with the candles, which appear to be modeled after religious Saint candles.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is scheduled for release on Netflix on Friday, June 12.
