Schoolwork is no issue for Beacon Hill's resident genius, but a new season 5 promo (see video below) indicates Lydia (Holland Roden) will have more than AP exams on her mind as the banshee takes on twelfth grade. The teen is headed for Eichen House, and fans will get to dive into her storyline right off the bat.

"[Roden's] going to have a lot to do this season, but it's very much secret," series creator Jeff Davis teased, according to Movie Pilot. "All I can say that the cold open of the season premiere is all about Lydia."

An intermittent voice over from the latest trailer may give fans an idea of what this opening sequence will entail.

"Tell me, Lydia. It started just after you began senior year. What happened?" a doctor can be heard asking. "Tell me what happened to them, what happened to your friends?"

If that doesn't set an ominous tone for the summer season, we don't know what would.
