Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi co-hosted Anderson Cooper Live on Thursday, Nov. 15 and used the opportunity to debut a slimmer figure and a hot new haircolor.

The petite reality star joined the daytime talk show host sporting long flowing locks in this season's hottest color - a rich ruby red.

After Cooper complimented the hair shade, she admitted she changed it for her appearance on the show.

Shortly after, Cooper offered her a plate full of cannolis. After she thanked him for offering her favorite dessert, she kindly declined the gift saying that she is on a diet. And it showed. The 24-year-old seemed to have returned to her pre-pregnancy weight in her black outfit and platform hi-heel shoes.

During the episode, the pint-sized "Jersey Shore" store gushed about motherhood, her experience as a New Jersey resident during Hurricane Sandy (she lost electrical power at home for several days) and even came up with her own freestyle rap song when Anderson's other guest, rapper Bow Wow, who joined them for a chat.

When asked if motherhood has changed her life she replied, "It's amazing. Having a kid changes your life, like before I was like, 'Oh my God, I want to go out, let's go to Vegas, I want to have fun'," Snooki told Cooper. "And then, after having a kid it's just like, 'Oh my God there is so much more to life than just going out and having a good time."

The 24-year-old praised her fiancé Jionni LaValle for being very hands-on with their son, Lorenzo, whom she gave birth on August 24.  "Jionni is such a good help. He's like another mother to Lorenzo," the smitten star told Anderson. "He's hands on, changing diapers, he's just awesome. He helps me so I can do my hair and make-up still."

Cooper told Snooki he had Nick Cannon on his show recently and that the "America's Got Talent" host revealed that his wife, Mariah Carey, was a bit of a diva and does not change their 2-year-old twins' diapers very much. Snooki said it's "fun" changing dirty pampers. "I actually love changing Lorenzo's diapers, even when they are like poopy and gross, it's fun. It's like all right. I don't know, I have fun doing everything with him," said Polizzi.

When asked if she is exactly  the kind of mom that she thought she would be, she said she's better than she initially thought. "Better, I am proud of myself... I want to be a MILF!"

Snooki admitted that since the birth of baby Lorenzo, she does take time out for herself. While she might not go as far as some of her former wild days with the fist-pumping antics she is known for, nowadays she prefers a much tamer lifestyle.

"It's way different, I am having a glass of wine talking about politics," she revealed. "Once in a while I like to dance but it's not as crazy as it used to be!"
