The latest Voice winner has been super busy meeting with various songwriters and producers in California since June 21.

This week was very productive for the 16-year-old.

The Latest 'Voice' Winner's California Trip Just Became 'A Little More Interesting,' But Why?

On Tuesday, Fredericks got to work with songwriter and producer Dave Bassett.

He mentioned "of all the studios" he has been in so far the one where he was with Bassett "definitely had the best view." The rolling hills of California are visible behind Fredericks and Bassett as they took a break from working on the teen's major label debut.

Then on Thursday, Fredericks dished he spent two days working with songwriter and producer Jamie Hartman at The Village Studios.

"Had an amazing two days," Fredericks gushed about working with Hartman, adding he "wrote an awesome new song."

Hartman called the song they wrote together "a big one" so perhaps it will wind up being Fredericks' lead single.

It seems like the chemistry between the teen and Hartman was great since Hartman is eager to work with Fredericks again.

The Voice will return to NBC in the fall for its ninth season.
