Shadowhunters certainly isn't skimping on the stunts.

ABC Family's adaptation of Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument series is attempting to play it close to the text, and than means choreographing some seriously intense fight scenes. Luckily for viewers, the young cast is more than up for the challenge.

So far we've seen clips of Alec (Alec Daddario) practicing his bowmen skills and Jace (Dominic Sherwood) wielding a Seraph Blade, and fans can now check out actress Katherine McNamara (Clary) as she puts her newfound Shadowhunter skills to the test against the series' stunt coordinator.

If this is just a taste of things to come, we can't wait until Clary and her nephilim cohorts take on demons and downworlders in 2016.

Steal and stone aren't the only weapons in the Shadowhunters arsenal, however. At least not for Jace. Sherwood thinks his character's biting wit can dole out a better lashing than any instrument in the Institute's weapons room.
