We all remember that shocking tweet posted on The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s account. Well now we see the backlash and consequence she suffered from it on a sneak peek of her Bravo spinoff show The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In.

While it was Giudice’s oldest daughter, Gia, posting for her, it was Teresa that got in trouble for it.

In the clip Teresa calls her four daughters and husband Joe Giudice. She makes her rounds and talks to all of the girls before catching up with Joe. She tells him to leave the room so their daughters don’t hear what she has to say next.

Gia then looks concerned as Teresa reveals, “So I asked Gia to tweet for me. You know, to send a tweet to my fans because I’ve been getting a lot of letters a lot of cards and I just wanted to thank them.”

Apparently the guards didn’t know that it was actually Gia who sent the tweet and so they gave Teresa and her room “a shake down” possibly looking for a cell phone that she could be hiding.

Joe reveals that the news of Teresa being treated that way made him “upset.”

He tells Joe, “They watch every little thing, huh?”

Gia hears and tries to put the pieces together by asking, “Why are you talking about me?”

Joe tries to shut her down but Teresa wants to reassure Gia that she didn’t do anything wrong.

She went on to say, “They’re so invading. Like if you bend down and cough…Like, where area you gonna put it?”
