While Phaedra Parks lives the life of a single mother on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it looks like her estranged husband Apollo Nida could be a free man much sooner than we all thought.

Phaedra Parks Finds A New Love On ‘RHOA’ While Apollo Nida Continues Jail Sentence

Nida himself wrote a letter to Radar Online which posted Tuesday morning, from the inside of a correctional facility in Lexington, Ky. He wrote on a short note dated Oct. 25, “Hello! Thanks for the love & support. I’ll hold all your contact info and reach out to you upon my release—Which won’t be long. Much respect.”

Phaedra Parks Opens Up About Life Without Apollo Nida ‘Like Death Of A Dream’

Nida is currently serving an eight-year sentence after he pleaded guilty to several fraud charges including identity theft last year. He was said to be the ringleader of a scam that brought in roughly $2 million. Since then, Parks has filed for divorce after saying she was blindsided about Nida’s secret and criminal life. The two have yet to finalize their divorce and Parks is still making headlines as Nida reveals that she has yet to bring their two sons, Ayden, 4, & Dylan, 2, to visit him.

In the premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Sunday, Parks said she and Nida speak frequently. She said she even sends him post cards from the places she travels to. It’s not clear how much longer Nida has left, but him saying it “won’t be long” when he’s a little more than a year into his sentence says plenty.
