Apollo Nida 'RHOA': Phaedra Parks Takes Sons To See Him On The Show [VIDEO]
It’s no secret that Phaedra Parks was really reluctant to take her two sons to see their father, Apollo Nida, in jail. But she had a change of heart, and Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta cameras caught some of the special moment for the show.
Phaedra Parks Gives Latest On Apollo Nida Divorce
Parks’s good friend and co-star Kandi Burruss asks Parks if she has spoken to her estranged husband in a teaser for the upcoming episode,
Parks takes a minute to answer before she and her mother have another scene. Her mom asks when she plans to tell the boys, Ayden, 5 and Dylan, 2, that they are going to see Nida, who started his sentence in jail back in September.

Parks tells her that she wasn’t going to tell them until they got there before she revealed just how long it has been since Ayden and Dylan saw Nida.
“It’s been a year.”
She lets the boys know, “You gotta get dressed so we can go on a special trip.”
They arrive at Fort Dix prison in New Jersey. Interestingly enough, this is facility that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe Giudice, will be spending his 41 month sentence. Nida was at a prison facility in Lexington, KY. before getting relocated. It’s not clear why he was moved.
He was sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty to several fraud charges from identity theft to loan fraud back in 2014. Parks has taken the first steps for divorce.
