It was only a matter of time before Apollo Nida, husband of Phaedra Parks of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, met Joe Giudice, husband of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, as the two are serving time in the same Fort Dixon prison in New Jersey.
New reports claim that the two reality stars are actually getting pretty close.

“Apollo and Joe immediately hit it off because they obviously have so much in common,” one source said in the latest issue of In Touch Weekly. “Having spounses on Bravo reality shows, both convicted of crimes, there was just an instant bond.”

Nida and Giudice also pleaded guilty of similar fraud charges. Nida is serving an eight year prison after being involved in a scam that brought in more than $2 million. Joe and Teresa were also caught in legal trouble. Teresa finished up her sentence back in December and Joe checked in last month. He was sentenced to 41 months. As for Parks, she has steered clear of the legal drama and filed for divorce from Nida shortly after his guilty plea.
Nida served the beginning of his time in Lexington, Ky. before being transferred to Fort Dixon shortly before Giudice arrived.

The insider added, “Joe was so appreciative that Apollo was going out of his way to guide him about how life in prison really works. Who to stay away from, which job he should try and get, it was just amazing the way Apollo stepped up as they had never met before.”

The possible budding bromance has already been hit with a snag as Nida was sentenced to 18 months of maximum security after he was caught with a cell phone.

“Joe was really upset because Apollo really felt like a brother. He doesn’t know how long Apollo will be in solitary for. Joe is keeping his head down and keeping a very low profile.”

While Parks and her and Nida’s sons visited him earlier this year, Teresa along with her and Joe’s four daughters haven’t been approved to see him yet.
