Phaedra Parks has made it clear that she is focused on her two sons after her love life became the topic of conversation on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta while her husband Apollo Nida spends time in federal prison.

Nida is serving an eight year sentence after pleading guilty to serious fraud charges like identity theft. While their marriage was going strong when we first met them on the show in season three, they are definitely on the rocks as Nida is prison in Kentucky and Parks is raising their two young sons, Dylan,4, and Ayden, 2.

In Sunday night’s episode, Porsha Williams encouraged Parks to get a sexy piece of lingerie for a possible new man she might be entertaining.

When asked about the shopping trip, Parks played coy about what she actually walked out of the store with.

She told the network this week, “Every so often, even a Southern lady needs to get a little something to add some spice into her recipes; let’s just leave it at that.”

Parks also said that being a mother kept her from missing the intense boat trip that the ladies went on toward the end of the episode. She said both Dylan and Ayden suffered ear infections, and of course taking care of them was more important.

“They were miserable and needed to be comforted by me. Being a mom is my first priority, and no boat trip could ever keep me from soothing my ailing sons.”

No word on when Nida will be a free man.
