It looks like Apollo Nida, husband of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, is learning who his real friends are as he continues his sentence behind bars.

Someone who has access to Nida’s Instagram account decided to sign on and call out none other than Cynthia Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas, for being a bad friend to Nida during his time in jail.

They uploaded a photo of the two reality TV husbands grinning from ear-to-ear. But the caption was nothing to smile about.

It didn’t take long for Thomas to catch wind of the photo and fire back on Instagram himself. He was clearly appalled by the allegations and wrote, “Wow!! Fake friend, never that, my number hasn’t [changed]. Still holding it down for everyone I love, including you my brother @apollonida03.”


Thomas’ response seems to have made the person behind Nida’s page clear up their original statement.

They added yet another photo of Nida and Thomas and said Nida does “respect” Thomas, but “is just a little hurt because it’s been well over a year and he hasn’t heard from Peter Thomas.”

They added that “Apollo thought they were boys and Peter had his back and would stay down.”

They went on to say that Nida “said the relationship was never fake on his part so what’s the issue with allowing everyone to know how he feels.”

They ended with saying that because their friendship was sparked in front of cameras, Nida didn’t think it was inappropriate to give the real on what was going on with them.
