Captain America: The Winter Solider seems to be causing a significant amount of carnage in Cleveland.

The third installment in Marvel Studio's Phase Two has taken over the West Shoreway for several days as it shoots a series of scenes in the city, according to the Plain Dealer. The highly public location of the filming has lead to a lot of new speculation about the film and several videos of car chases and special effects.

Stills posted by the Plain Dealer show a considerable amount of set up work being completed by the Captain America crew. Flaming cars and smoke filled streets aside, a lot of action has surrounded an overturned Metro bus.

According to ComicBookMovie, the bus driver was shot, possibly by cronies of the Winter Soldier, and ejected from the bus as it was hit by another vehicle. The site reports that the bottom of the bus was then equipped with bullet hole special effects, presumably in preparation for a shoot out. Meanwhile, cranes were positioned on an overpass in order to lower actors down in the scene.

You can get a glimpse of the bus crash in a video provided by The Daily Superhero.

Fans can now also take a look at part of a chase scene as it is being filmed. The video shows two police cars as they pursue an SUV through traffic. Near the end of the clip, actors inside the cop cars lean out to fire at the fleeing vehicle.

As per the norm with Marvel films, viewers can expect to be treated to plenty of faced paced action scenes when Captain America: The Winter Solider hits theaters in 2014.
