Wendy Williams reportedly made an unexpected move that is considered career suicide.

After losing her "The Wendy Williams Show," Williams aims to launch her podcast, "The Wendy Experience Podcast," at her New York City penthouse.

Her manager, Will Selby, told The Sun that they would soon record an episode.

But she seemingly made a wrong move when Selby officially became her manager.

A source revealed to OK! Magazine that Williams' manager is a former jeweler who has zero experience in the industry. With that, the insider referred to it as career suicide.

"After getting pushed out of her own TV show, Wendy should be working with the best in the business to try and make a comeback. Instead, she has hired the guy she bought earrings and rings from," the source said.

It added that the host always tends to have questionable judgment. But hiring Selby reportedly shocked even the people who have known her for a long time.

Hiring him was reportedly part of the 57-year-old's plans as she established a partnership with him. But even Williams herself admitted that she does not know what a podcast is and how it works.

ET Online reported that she is unsure if she would start in Europe and welcome interesting guests. She did not disclose more details about it, but she made it clear that she is 100 percent retired in her recently-ended show.

Wendy Williams' Brother Hurt As She Plans To Come Back

While Williams and Selby have been smoothly preparing for their project, Williams' brother expressed his concerns as he unveiled more details about her health condition.

In an interview with Good Day DC, Tony Williams said that seeing his sister try again is a "very heart-wrenching" situation for him.

"It's very frustrating, because when you find somebody in your family who you want to help, you want to help but they refuse your help. They denounce any type of accusation of them being different or in need of assistance and want to grab your hand. You know, it's difficult," he went on.

His comments came after Williams addressed another health issue to a news outlet, saying that she was doing better than anyone else despite her lymphedema. She first revealed it during a 2019 episode of her show.

The condition was worrying enough it could make her stay in a wheelchair. But since she could still stand up on her own, she assured everyone that she was feeling physically better.

According to the National Cancer Institute, the condition refers to the build-up of fluid in a patient's soft body tissues. It occurs when the lymph system is blocked or damaged, thus, it causes swelling.
