Did they find their way back into love? Drew Barrymore gets emotional while reminiscing on "The Drew Barrymore Show" in an interview with ex-boyfriend Justin Long.

In a recent press release on the upcoming third season of "The Drew Barrymore Show", the 45 year old talk show host will reportedly feature actor Justin Long on the talk show. Barrymore and Long share their on-and-off dating history from 2007 to 2010.

A preview of the interview shows the ex-couple reminiscing on their past relationship, wherein host Barrymore shares her thoughts on her development following the end of their relationship.

"I feel like we've been through so much together too. When we used to talk and FaceTime I was always like, 'You know, I've really grown up Justin.' I always wanted to prove to you what a different person I was than when we dated." Barrymore expressed, to which ex-boyfriend Long replied, "You were the best".

Inside Their 'Chaotic' Relationship

While discussing their past relationship on the preview of "The Drew Barrymore Show", the former couple briefly discussed their feelings on the fallout. Barrymore went on to describe their relationship as "chaos", to which Long agreed.

"We had so much fun but we were more hedonistic. A little more immature. We would get together, we would break up. It was chaos, it was hella-fun." Barrymore describe, to which Long agreed: "Fun chaos - well yeah, most hedonism is fun."

Barrymore and Long's relationship has been known to be "hot and cold", a source in 2008 revealed when the 44 year old actor withdrew from Barrymore's directoral debut, "Whip It!" following one of their many breakups.

The former couple's relationship timeline dates back to 2007 when they met while filming the romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You", and reportedly started dating during the summer. Barrymore plays the role of Mary while Long played as Alex on the film.

The two dated on-and-off for 3 years. After starring together in the film "Going the Distance", the two eventually called it quits in 2010. The "Way Back Into Love" actress was reportedly the one who ended things with Long.

As of now, Justin Long has recently "found the one" in girlfriend Kate Bosworth. Meanwhile, Barrymore is currently a single mother of two children, following her divorce in 2016 with former Chanel COO Arie Kopelman.
