Drew Barrymore Is Ready For a Film Sequel

In a recent episode of the "Drew's News" podcast, the 47-year-old host told comedian Benito Skinner that she would be fully on board for another installment in the franchise if there was a possibility, alongside her co-stars and long-time friends Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu.

"I just was watching Lucy, funny enough, who I was texting with this morning, and she was at Comic-Con for the new Shazam movie and they asked her, 'Would you do a Charlie's [Angels] 3?' And I was on the edge of my seat." Barrymore shared. "I would be surprised if any one of us ever decreed that we wouldn't [do a third movie]. I would. I would in a heartbeat. The answer is an emphatic yes. I will always say yes."

The 'Charlie's Angels' Trio's Friendship

Drew Barrymore has been vocal about her long-standing friendship with her former co-stars Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu.

In a mini-reunion on her daytime talk show, "The Drew Barrymore Show", the "Way Back into Love" singer invited Diaz and Liu in the first episode of her show. According to Barrymore, their friendship alludes to being present in different phases and milestones of each other's lives.

"The thing that I love about our friendship is that we have been there in all the big and important moments, we've also been there in the small moments and the casual moments," Barrymore explained regarding their friendship. "The reason we are such good friends is because it's real and we go through real stuff with each other. It's not a Hollywood fairy tale."

With Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu revealing their true feelings on a sequel possibility, no details have been confirmed for a revival of the trio's "Charlie's Angels", as Cameron Diaz is currently busy with the debut of her unretirement film.
