The fourth season of The Walking Dead left fans with much anticipation, and actor Josh McDermitt dished on some theories that could take place next season.

Season 4 Finale Chatter

The actor, who plays scientist Dr. Eugene Porter on the series, gave some insight to Download.com published on Saturday that consisted of Terminus and the train car.

"I'm supposed to have a meeting with producers before we head back to Atlanta, and they speak in vague generalities when they tell us what's going to happen," McDermitt said. "I have my theories, but we're obviously going to find out what happens in this train car of death that everybody's locked in.

Major Character Death Chatter

McDermitt also mentioned that there will be a location that will not only include Terminus.

"That's not going to be the only location, so it'll be interesting to see what happens from that," he said.

The actor also dished on the season finale of Season 4, which he thought was great.

"I thought it was fitting for how the season was going, and it had gotten to the place that nobody expected," McDermitt said. "It wasn't just how the Terminus thing ended up. I think people were expecting something like that, but in terms of how Rick was pushed in a direction that he didn't necessarily think he was going to be pushed in-- that when he woke up, it caught people by surprise."

McDermitt said that all of these concepts make him look forward to what will take place next season.

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to air this October on AMC.
