American Idol is down to its final five and the contestants got a little shakeup in Wednesday night's episode.

Which 'AI' Judge is Crushing on J. Lo?

For starters, America might not have chosen the last singer standing just yet, but viewers did get to select two songs for each contestant to belt out in hopes of taking home the coveted title.

Alex Preston was the first to perform and sang Sweater Weather. He got decent feedback fromt the judges but Jennifer Lopez wanted a little more.

Harry Connick, Jr. Disses Mariah Carey?

"You could've made it more exciting to kick off the show."

He later sang Say Something which Harry Connick, Jr. dubbed as the "performance of the night."

As for his competitors, Caleb Johnson sang I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing. Unfortunately, Keith Urban wasn't too impressed.

"You must let your feelings drive your ability, not the other way around."

But he won the judges over in his second performance with Still of the Night by Whitesnake.

Connick gushed, "You can't sing it any better than that. You heard the crowd. Congratulations."

Jessica Meuse held it down for the ladies and sang Human before she served up a sultry performance of Summertime Sadness. While J. Lo complimented her outfit, she confessed the performance, "left me a tiny bit cold" and Urban encouraged her to "emotionally and dramatically lean into the song."

As for Sam Woolf, the judges weren't too happy with his performance of Sing but managed to get back into their good graces after his shaky start to How to Save a Life.

Jena Irene also showed off a little girl power when she sang My Body. Urban was feeling it enough to stand up while she performed. But Lopez didn't care for her second performance of Valerie by Amy Winehouse.

She told Irene, "It was so not you" while Urban described her tunes as "killer."
