Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert lead very busy lives. Between recording in the studio and touring across the country, the couple hardly have time for themselves. That's why Shelton has planned a little relaxation time for his wife.

The pair, who married in 2011 and recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary, have a boat that they like to take out on Lake Texoma in Oklahoma and that's where they intend to be.

According to Boston.com, Shelton has planned a little getaway for his wife when she returns from her latest tour. Lambert is currently out on the road promotion her new album Platinum, which came out on June 3.

"I know when she gets back she's going to want to do something like that [go out on the boat]. She's going to want to just go float around and drink or be pulled on a tube..." explained Shelton, adding, "So I figured I'd get me some points here and get the boat running."

Shelton and Lambert rarely record together and, unlike some married musicians in the industry, have never toured together. A trip out on the lake just might be what they need to get away from divorce rumors and cheating allegations that have been filling the pages of so many tabloids. The couple maintains that they are "happy" together living in Nashville with their dogs and their horses.

The two are looking forward to "relaxing" before getting on with their fast-paced schedules.
