Finding Carter has been dealing with a number of intense drama, and things are about to get crazier with a love triangle coming together.

On Tuesday, Hollywood Life posted an interview with Alex Saxon (Max) on who his character has been crushing on in the MTV series. It seems that he's caught between Carter and Taylor, but for different reasons.

"They [Carter and Max] have a history together and viewers will learn more about their relationship," Saxon said. "Max is all Carter has from her past life."

As the season continues, the drama will heat up when connections start to grow, but that could lead to friendships being destroyed as well as broken hearts. But according to Saxon, that's the basis of what this show revolves around.

"It will be interesting to see how Taylor and Max's relationship develops, as well as Max and Carter's relationship," the actor said. "The show is about turmoil and betrayal as well as relationships and how they evolve."

This might cause all the viewers to become even more skeptical on who the big couple will be as the series continues. Even though Max and Carter used to date, the chemistry might not be over just yet. But then again, it is possible that he might choose the one he's been getting close with.

Saxon also mentioned that what makes the show so great is that it deals with adult issues as well as teenage issues.

Finding Carter airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
