A sneak peek of the season finale of Finding Carter has been released with Max waking up in the hospital and speaking to his family.

Will Crash Turn Himself In On 'Finding Carter?'

On Friday, MTV posted the scene where Carter runs into the hospital room to see Max awake and runs over to give him a hug. Her biological parents are with her along with Taylor and Grant.

Carter is in tears and tells Max how sorry she is. She asks him if he'll ever forgive her where he responds, "Of course."

'Finding Carter' Actor Dishes On Changes In His Character

There's a little awkward tension coming from everyone else until Grant playfully tells Max that he looks horrible. Grant then tells him that he's happy to hear him talk, but Max thinks that all he does is complain. But no one is going to get on his case for that.

Max goes on about rehab and cash, but he doesn't want to bring the room down with his depressing thoughts. Carter then tells him, "Max, you couldn't be depressing if you tried."

Max prefers that someone else says something to liven up the situation, which leaves everyone to naturally try to think of something to say. Considering that he was shot, it's probably difficult for anyone to make light of the situation.

But Grant decides to step in and reveals that he's getting a D in science. No one is impressed by that remark except for Max who tells him to go study.

Finding Carter airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
