Finding Carter has soared its way through part of its first season and more details have been exposed on something that'll happen with Max.

Who Will Max Choose To Be With On 'Finding Carter?'

On Wednesday, Blog.Viacom posted an interview with Alex Saxon (Max) who mentioned that his character is going to change as the first season comes to a close- and there's a chance that other characters might have their own changes as well.

"I can't give away too much. But I will say the Max we've come to know this far in the season will not be the Max we end with," the actor said. "Everyone's sense of stability and control will be tested."

Saxon also dished on why he thinks the show resonated with an audience and developed a fan base in such a short amount of time.

"I think the premise is responsible for the intial reaction," he said. "It's a compelling set of circumstances for Carter, the family, everyone involved. Beyond that, the writers have eschewed an oversimplified black and white world. The characters aren't good or bad; they're dynamic shades of gray. It's not dumbed down for the audience. That leaves much to be appreciated."

Saxon was previously on the ABC Family series The Fosters, another show that featured strong female leads, which is something that he's been proud to be a part of.

"I've had the good fortune of working on two different shows with strong female leads, The Fosters and Finding Carter, both of which are run by creative and sensitive storytellers," the actor said.

Finding Carter airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
