Derek Jeter's longtime girlfriend Hannah Davis was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand amid reports that continue to speculate whether he will pop the question once he retires.

The 24-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model enjoyed a day with the New York Yankees star Monday, just one day after he played with his teammates for the last time. While they both carried Starbucks coffees and rocked shades, it was the ring placed on her left ring finger that seemed to catch attention.

While it most likely isn't an engagement ring, her finger of choice is interesting considering all eyes are on the couple wondering if wedding bells will be ringing for them soon.

Jeter appeared not to have a care in the world as he sported a University of Michigan tee with a casual necklace, sunglasses and rugged jeans and sneakers. Davis dressed her look up a little bit more and donned a black smock with knee high leather boots and a black bag with her hair in a high bun.

Jeter recently opened up about tying the knot and suggested that he might be ready!

He spoke with famous sports memorabilia owner Brandon Steiner and said, "I was too selfish to be able to juggle a family and kids. But I look forward to it happening. I just know that I . . . couldn't have done it while I was playing...I was . . . too selfish, I guess."

An insider also added that wedding bells could be in Jeter and Davis' future.

"They are really happy. She could be the one."
