While Derek Jeter has made headlines after celebrating is departure from the New York Yankees, his longtime girlfriend Hannah Davis was on hand to cheer him on.

Jeter took on his last home game at the Yankee Stadium Thursday, ending his 20-year career in professional baseball. But some are still talking about Davis, who was spotted in the crowd several times cheering on her beau. After he scored the winning point, Davis along with Jeter's mother rushed the field and embraced him in front of thousands of fans and supporters.

The 40-year-old icon also accepted the support of Davis, 24, and grabbed her hand as he gave a small speech.

Earlier this month Jeter was honored at the Bronx stadium for his success in professional baseball. Other greats such as Reggie Jackson, Cal Ripken Jr., Joe Torre and Dave Winfield were in attendance to celebrate his career. Some of his former teammates like Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams and Jorge Pasada also came out. Even basketball star Michael Jordan was there along with MLB commissioner-elect Rob Manfred.

Just weeks belore Jeter's final game, the couple was spotted out and about in New York City. They both sported pretty casual looks as they walked down the streets of the city.

Jeter donned a gray tee with the Let's Strike Out Cancer charity's logo paired with sneakers, jeans and sunglasses. The model rocked an oversized University of Michigan t-shirt, black jeans ripped at the knee along with black bow-tie flats. Her hair was in a high bun and she opted for a pair of sunglasses as well.
