Jesus and Brandon are about to make a connection with some serious adult issues when The Fosters returns based on the latest sneak peek.

Three New Cast Members Join 'The Fosters'

On Thursday, Just Jared Jr posted the scene where Jesus is bench pressing and Brandon is his spotter. He tells his brother that he did a good job when Jesus asks about Brandon's father's AA meetings. He wants to know what it's like at those meetings when Brandon says that it was weird, but his father was happy that he went.

Brandon goes on about why it's weird in AA; this is mainly because people just sit around and tell stories about all the terrible stuff they did, which causes laughter. No one is laughing at them exactly, but they're just realizing that they may have done worse things.

Brandon tries to break the tension a bit by asking if Jesus has a drinking problem. But then he realizes that maybe the reason Jesus wants to know these facts is because he might be worried for his birth mother. Jesus claims that he was just curious so Brandon gives him the benefit of the doubt.

When Jesus asks his brother if he thinks AA actually works, Brandon said that he likes to think it does since he kind of has to.

This scene gives insight to what's about to happen with Ana and if Jesus is going to admit if he really is worried for her.

The Fosters returns on Monday, January 19 on ABC Family.
