Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has really stepped up her selfie game this year, and it looks like she may have something else to add to her resume.

In November Kim Kardashian tried to 'break the Internet' after sharing her nude Paper Magazine cover photo, but it looks like DeGeneres may have her beat.

Back in November, Variety announced that the comedian's Oscar Selfie broke the Twitter record.

DeGeneres's photo was retweeted more than a million times and had also been shared and duplicated by people around the world.

Unfortunately some of the celebs in the shot were cut out due to the large amount of people attempting to get into the photo, but it's still the best selfie of the year.

On Monday's show, Meryl Streep visited the show to promote her new film Into The Woods and while the two tried to recreate the now famous selfie, unfortunately they failed.

Her co-stars Anna Kendrick and Emily Blunt joined Streep and when they all tried to recreate the Oscar selfie, the actress was cut out yet again.
