Grey's Anatomy has really been focusing on the disconnect between Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and her husband Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) since Derek took the job in Washington, D.C.

Meredith & Derek Deal With Their Relationship Issues On 'Grey's Anatomy'

At the end of last week's episode he showed up at his home with Meredith and their conversation quickly escalated to whether or not he cheated on her.

"You called me and a woman answered my phone," Derek said to Meredith as he remained on the doorstep.

"I called you and a woman answered your phone," Meredith replied.

Now, a clip has been revealed of what's to come in With or Without You, which airs tomorrow, March 26.

The Hollywood Reporter released the clip Wednesday, which shows Derek with his research fellow who is played by Scottie Thompson.

Thompson previously appeared in a recurring role on NCIS and most recently appeared on The Blacklist.

Thompson's character's name on Grey's is Renee Collier. Renee becomes overjoyed with excitement in the lab while with Derek since they seem to have made a breakthrough.

"This is amazing! You're amazing! I could kiss you," she beams with a megawatt smile at Derek.

Derek appears a little thrown by her admission and she quickly backtracks and says, "I mean I won't. Obviously I won't."

She continues to share her excitement and says their breakthrough "is such a high" as she holds intense eye contact with Derek.

Suspense builds around the two as they're the only ones in the lab and now neither are saying anything as they stare at each other.

Derek breaks the silence by saying, "It's getting late. Um, I should go."

"Do you have to?" Renee asks as she grabs his hand.

Tune in tomorrow to see if Derek did cheat on Meredith.
