Fans saw a different side of Nick on last night’s Rookie Blue when he set out to get revenge like never before; at the same time he gets close to Juliet, despite Andy’s warning.

The episode begins with Nick and Juliet flirting. When Andy notices, she tells him, “I hope you’ll listen to your gut when it’s telling you maybe get to know somebody better rather than pursuing him.”

Andy is facing her own drama as her boyfriend, Sam, is expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend. So Nick ignores Andy’s advice and is set on getting close with Juliet. But he suddenly gets distracted when his brother Finn returns and lets him know the drunk driver who was said to have been involved in the crash that killed their parents years ago has resurfaced.

Nick quickly switches gears with Juliet and lies to get out of working. He then meets up with the man, who doesn’t know who Nick is. Which is probably why he begins to spill his heart and even dish on his side of the accident, confessing that he ran away from the site. The man and Nick end up on the roof as he figures out Nick’s identity. But the huge catch is that it comes out that Finn was the one who caused the accident, even though the man was under the influence.

By this time, Juliet put two-and-two together and arrives on the roof just in time. Nick then tells her to put the man in handcuffs.

As for Finn, he and Nick hash out their differences, including what happened on that tragic night. Nick and Juliet then take the next step in their relationship when they end back up at an apartment.
